Rise Above - A Tribute to the Tuskegee Airmen
Please see information below regarding the film, Rise Above – A Tribute to the Tuskegee Airmen, about the Tuskegee Airmen, heroic fighter pilots of World War II. “Rise Above” outlines the story of the brave young men and support personnel who became known as the Tuskagee Airmen.
You have a unique opportunity to view a 30-minute film projected on a 160-degree panoramic screen in a 30-seat mobile movie theater, July 14, 15 and 16, 2014 on John Ireland Blvd. Tickets are Free.
(The original film was created for the exhibit to educate and inspire audiences of all ages by sharing the inspiring legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen – America’s first black military pilots and their support personnel. Their success in triumphing over adversity during WWII inspires people of all ages to rise above obstacles.)
