'Fly Girls' plays into airline stereotypes

'Fly Girls' plays into airline stereotypes

Couldn't agree more! And alas, the first episode of 'Fly Girls' will be carried by my cable provider after all. I guess I have no excuse but to watch at least a part of it, so I can render my own opinion. We all know, however, what that is likely to be. I'm certainly not asking any of my readers to tune in, but on the outside chance you do, please share your thoughts.

Wait a minute...

I just read the page your article redirected to.

These bimbos from Virgin America Airlines are promoting themselves on television with catch-phrases such as "When we put on our uniforms the world becomes our playground" and talk about their "IFB's" (in-flight boyfriends!), and in the same breath they bemoan the stereotypes of bimbo-stewardess sexpot sluts? (Such as themselves??!!??)

Am I the only one who has no sympathy for these slutdesses, er, uh, sorry, I mean stewardASSES?
